I worked for a book publishing company until October of last year (wrote this joke last summer though and fudged the details to make it work here) but there's really more to it. I'm shrouded in mystery!

If I'm not mistaken, Joe is a freelance artist and graphic designer, having recently resigned from his day-job as a graphic designer with some suit and tie kind of company. That's what I gathered from a recent thread from the general discussion forum, entitled "I quit".

I have to ask now, what is Joe's day job? I too have an art degree and (I suppose) a lack of using it since I'm a shipping clerk. I still draw in a studio when I'm not working. Joe's is obviously using his mad art skills for the forces of good (and evil).

But, forget my wistful parallels. What is joe's dayjob?

(I also have a wife who nags me about not using my degree. That's the last similarity I'll point out. Promise!)

Ha ha. That scene just brings me back to a once good show Attack of the Show. They had a segment (a while back ago) where a guy just went around an office hitting people with a keyboard saying 'you've been home rowed', not as cool as the keys actually spelling something, but yeah.

When I first wrote the joke that was the idea and I wrote this thing back when the movie came out. by the time it came to actually doing it though there were two problems I didn't foresee. 1) double E's. A tooth can make a nice "u" but and "e"? I was looking at "Joe Rulz" yuck. Problem 2) It was just too much. there's was too many keys on the panel and it was way too busy. This seemed like a nice compromise while still being somewhat clever with the shift and all.

I'll definitely do a review because I've got a lot to say about the movie. It think to many people write it off for somethings it does really successfully.

Joe, I don't even know if you need a review to accompany that comic. I think you perfectly summed up what makes Wanted awesome and lame at the same time!

You [i]could [/i]make real change in your life after watching this movie. Or you could hit people with keyboards. I think most people would choose the latter.

The action scenes in Wanted were the best parts of the movie. Everything else was patronizing pro-violence hooey. I love anti-heroes as much as the next guy but I'm weary of a movie in which the main character realizes that to take control of his life, he has to kill tons of people.

Also, the idea of a loom giving out orders on who to kill is still hilarious.

I'm honestly suprised you didn't go the full JoeRules :D. The shift+1 was a nice touch.

Joe, you have now convinced me that there's an almost infinite number of phrases that could be spelled out by whacking people in the face with keyboards. :lol:
