that's actually why i hate him. i was never a fan of comedians who sole humor was playing to stereotypes. i'm not saying that it can't be funny (chris rock has some good stuff), but most of the time it ends up being Carlos Mencia and no one wants that.

Joe: Oh, I agree. He's been doing Git-r-Done for at least 10 years now, there's no way he'll only be in the national eye for a year... I just needed to believe the lie...

Hustlertwo: That's a pretty common misconception about the blue collar tour, but apparently every member of the tour is a well-established southern comic with a long stand-up career. Larry the Cable Guy has been Larry the Cable Guy for 1/10 of a century. :? Foxworthy is just the elder statesman of the group (who wears blue stingray boots).

If he's that pick up truck I think he ends up being Wilsons main buddy or lieasan to hillbilly world other than the love intrest (can you believe that sentence was about cars?) So his part is potentially pretty big.

Other than that, the man's career is on its last leg. He got 'er done.

I wouldn't exactly lump Foxworthy in with the others. He's proven he has staying power as far as his career is concerned.

And how big do you think his part will be in Cars? I figured it wouldn't be much more than a cameo, or a small supporting role at the absolute most.

That could be true but you never know, 2006 could be a huge year for him. Health Inspector will probably do pretty well on DVD sales and rentals. And he's also in Cars which is going to be huge in theaters and on video.

Yeah, it's bad enough that they're remaking it with Cedric the Entertainer.

Making a cinematic vehicle for a stand-up comic is an iffy prospect at best. Doing it for one who, while somewhat funny, is still more of a flavor-of-the-month, is definitely a bad call. I figured nothing good would come of this, and given the poor box office and dismal reviews, I guess that was the case. I'm just glad they didn't use Larry to remake a Rodney Dangerfield flick or something.

I think it speaks for itself how bad a movie is when Joe puts a spoiler in his review. 'Nuff said.

Eactly. I have more controle with my left hand which is better for head shots. I wanted these freaks down FAST. I wanted Vanilla Ice to feel the pain.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who finds that guy so irritating that he wants to open fire into a crowd of fans.
I don't get it. "Git R Done" isn't a joke. And fat ugly people are a dime a million in America. What's the appeal?
