I actually had an odd experience with the help line on Sunday. You may hear about it on Thursdays pimpcast...

This is hilarious, and totally relateable for anyone with retail experience. I hate the help line....

Alright, Kevin, you're going to need to explain what's going on in this one. What is "making a bale"? Are they crushing cardboard boxes?

And sweet baby Jesus, who would read something called "Shaved Chan"? That's just wrong on so many levels. Yet... strangely intriguing.

He pays attention to him, it's just negative attention :)

Awwww, it looks like Tim is feeling a little neglected. Why won't Al pay more attention him?

hooray for having a government job. My black Friday consists of sleeping.

If by imagined you mean dreamt, then I'm right with you! :)

Holy crap, I have to print this up and put it up at work over the holidays. Working retail (even for short periods) I have imagined such a situation many a time.

Post by trevor » Tue Nov 20, 2007 2:43 pm

This reflects exactly how I felt on black Friday while working retail. Right on, Kevin!

I liked whats-his-face swinging through the background wielding a calculator on a string like some nerd flail. It was great.

Good strip. It reminds all of us who have served in the trenches on Black Friday of the men and women who did not survive to tell the tale.

Glad you guys liked it...I basically wanted to draw Tim punching a woman. :)
