i've read four graphic novels by jeffrey brown since saturday, and i think if you like scott pilgrim, you will also enjoy his work. he doesn't exactly mix the heart and adventure the way brian lee o'malley does, but his parodies are hilarious and his emo stories are distinctly within that same realm, although likely JB came first. the art has a similar aesthetic, too. very indie, but not too much to be fun.
anybody read that? i know i'm getting to it late, but i like it a lot.
the ones i got were incredible change-bots, minisulk, an easy intimacy, and bighead.
