I want to know if you and Phil discussed the timing of your arcs while you were doing the cross-over. Because you've got a romantic confrontation currently taking place in both strips. And the confrontation involves the two characters that were romantically linked during the cross-over.

I sense collusion.

An easy mistake if you met him :)

I thought it was going to be Dan mistakes a naked Tim FOR a bearskin rug?

I don't know why you had to spoil it Joe... :)

Excellent! I think you've just thought about your next voting incentive for that comic, Joe. ;)

Dan and Tim, naked on a rug.

But...what is this going to mean for the next Retail Rage / Matriculated cross over!?!

Ah, I can finally get rid of these Retail Rage blue balls.

It was basically an excuse to use the word 'douchy'...that's really all it was :)

Trevor - sorry you're going through that. We've all been through it before, and it'll pass.

I've also had something like this happen in my life...probably more than once. And probably why it's so uncomfortable to write.

Post by opie301 » Mon May 19, 2008 7:18 pm

That sucks, Trev. I hope you're doing alright with everything.

The thing with Al's position is that I've been exactly in that position before. You get all worked up, and you begin to feel a bit righteous, but you know for sure that you are right and the other person is wrong. So you throw it all out there, feeling confident that they're not coming back... and then they do. And suddenly you're not so sure that you were as right as you thought you were. And then all that righteous anger drains away and you're stuck with a lame apology on your tongue. The thing you gotta do... is pick yourself up, and try again. Maybe your anger isn't as righteous as it was, but there was anger there. And it was caused be something. And you need to air that stuff out or else it festers.

Whew... it's like a confessional here.

Is this a bad time to mention that I'm currently experiencing a failed relationship.

I know I didn't announce it on here, but I got "let go" from my relationship responsibilities 2 weeks ago. It sucks.

Kevin, your comic is still awesome, though. Always seems to touch a cord with me, and connect on a level that appears uncanny!

I wish it was going faster too. this stuff is uncomfortable to write. :)
