I remember the old Xmen arcade game where it was like him, cyclops, colususs(sp), and i think wolverine and they each had a mutant power you could use. Nightcrawlers just made him teleport around the screen and he usually missed most of the people who were attacking. Those were good times.

Haha! I've never played that one, but it sounds great!! Old arcade games... like Galactica and Mortal Kombat and Rampage... are timeless. And to even still be pertinent to this board, the old Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles arcade game - that used to be my FAVORITE. I used to play it all the time as a kid when I went to go play lazer tag at Q-Zar.

I remember that old X-men game, it rocked hardcore. But the game that rocked ever more hardcore was TMNT: Turtles in Time. That game was bad-ASS.

Yeah! I have that game on the SNES, but nothing beats the arcade....

The 2-screen X-Men game was kick ass too, and I found it on auction once...for like $13,000.

Ouch....

ya nightcrawlers super may have sucked, but his hand to hand was better than any other x-man. He could hit behind him while combo-ing
I looked at him, and for a second.... I forgot to kill him.

The best part of Turtles in Time was that you could hurl Foot soldiers into the screen...and doing so was the only way to cause damage to Shredder in the first fight with him! That was totally awesome.

I liked the first TMNT game a lot better. Turtles in time was way to short. It took like 45 minutes to beat if you were retarded. With full on cheats and shit, the original took like 3 hours. 3 hours of pure joy.

There's a place around where I live where you can actually play the 2 screen X-Men game for a nickel. It's the closest you can get to heaven without doing something good...or the closest thing to heaven without boobs.

I remember an X-men game where you could play as Beast of Gambit too, and Beast's power was hilarious cuz he pounded the ground, and it looked like he was throwing a tantrum. But Gambit was my favorite X-Men cuz he threw cards. That was awesome, I tried throwing cards but mine never exploded.

If they ever add Gambit to an X-Men movie, please God... let them cast Johnny Depp....

I used to agrue that throwing cards was stupid and he should throw something else. A friend of mine said he should throw child porn, cause then he wouldn't even need to use mutant power. All the villians would just be creeped out and sick. I think there was something seriously wrong with my friend.

I hope if they ever Gambit to an X-Men movie Depp has the good taste to avoid it like the plague.

I always thought he should throw a bowling ball. I figured since he accelerated the matter, that something as dense as a bowling ball would would basically tear through people and leave a big hole in them. My brother always argued that cards were awesome because he could carry a deck of cards, have 52 bullets, and since he made them fuggin explode, it didn't matter how dense they were.

Everybody knows that Harry Connick, Jr is the man to play Gambit. Plus, I think he needs the work.
