What could make it work, though, is that it could be an entirely artistic thing as well. Since the Pogues cameo hasn't really been in the script, he's merely been an "extra", you could imply, without explicitly stating, a hook-up by merely drawing the shades into a background shot at some point. As if they were accidentally left behind by a gentleman caller.

I still can't wait to see where this whole thing is going. Keep up the good work.

lol, nice! But why are Al and Janette in bed, under the covers, fully clothed? That's telling me that maybe all they did was make out a little, or maybe even a ton. Oh well, that's better than nothing for Al.

Love the "Pogues shades" in the background. Pogues and Rebecca were making out on the floor, then Pogues jus kinda left her there? He couldn't carry her to at least a couch or something? She's small, it couldn't be that hard to lift her. Way to go Pogues, ya big jerk.

Man, i was so excited about those glasses, and not 15 minutes after I drew them in did that post come up.

I'm happy with this strip though. It was a tough one but I think it came out well.

I thought the art came out really well on this strip. I was actually thinking of making a change to the script because of it... I'm actually still debating it. I think I'll talk more about it during tomorrow night's PIMPcast.

Haha. I am such a DICK! In actuality she probably smacked me and kicked me out during the sloppy makes out. That is why my shades are there. I never saw Opie's post before I read the comic so I laughed hard when I saw them make an appearance. Brilliant, Joe! I <3 DPO.

I am also really digging this story arc. I can't wait to see where it goes from here.

So seriously that last panel in the new comic was pretty badass. I forgot to mention that in my last post. Kevin and Joe are really putting out some quality art for this corssover.

Thanks, Pouges. I agree. Kevin is really making me elivate my game. I think that the top five best looking strips that I've done for Matriculated are in this story arc. Knowing Kevin is going to be right behind me with an awesome strip really makes me want to put my best foot forward.
