The fuck is a Caladar? Lift your game Joe ;)

That aside, great strip as per usual!

I love how quiet and subtle the punchline is after Leo practically attacks Irv. I also like how Leo is working into the cast without being used in his standard role.

Of course, I can't wait for a movie in which Slow Billy can again play a part. I love Slow Billy.

On the criticism side of things, from the Outside the Theater section:
That first race was a Spy vs. Spy take on the classic Tortes and the Heir story.
Just a heads up that the correct spellings are Tortoise and Hare respectively.

Thanks Opie - corrected.

I like Slow Billy too, but he's hard to use in this strip. He's pretty one note and I would hate to force him to just be around. I have no problem doign that with Leonidas though. :D

agreed. leo as a normal character is a nice trivial reference that doesn't detract from the strip itself. it is a chuckle for regular readers on the way to the chuckle for everyone.

Oh, I wasn't trying to say that I wanted Slow Billy in this comic. I was just expressing my fondness for the character and saying that I couldn't wait for a movie/comic in which his appearance would be warranted. My comment was almost completely unrelated to the current discussion.

That you've actually turned Leo into a real character though is amazing. He's moved on from spouting parodies of lines from 300 to being a character in his own right and it works so well. That you did it on the same day where you skewer Meet the Spartans for being uncreative in their parody, however, is sweet, delicious irony.

It's no problem, I'm greatful when people approach me respectfully with corrections, but I think it's been corrected. Hit refresh.

If it's still wrong... Isn't "calendar" right?

Is there a more popular spelling? I hate words.

Your reality, sir, is lies and balderdash and I'm delighted to say that I have no grasp of it whatsoever.

Am I the only one who noticed that Leo orders a bucket of PBR when he's at the bar? That mofo can drink with me anytime.
