i don't think there is anything positive you can say about either of those that doesn't end with the phrase "for a fan film."

My favorite thing about the Worlds Finest fan film is the total of four balloons that fall during whatever that celebration sequence is...

That's pretty cool. I've only known one person that was on reality TV and it was on Ambush Makeover.

So I'm guessing they didn't know it was coming?

I wanna see an American Gladiator tackle someone and start lunging at their hair with a flat iron.

the last guy tried to go in and score even though he was limping, so the gladiator felt bad and just carried him out of bounds rather than tackle the shit out of him.

That's kind of the problem with American Gladiators.

Not that I advocate kicking a guy when he's down, but the Gladiators either need to be around-the-clock bad asses or wholly indifferent to the competitor's injuries while on-camera.

They go to great lengths to create these intimidating personas. But once the competition is through, they're smiling and genial with the contestants - helping them up off the mat and smiling. The only guy that appears to be sticking to the script is Wolf.

I'm all for good sportsmanship, though. But either AG is a sport or it's not.

Heh, yeah, pro wrestling has more character consistency than American Gladiator.
