I don't mean to argue. Just playing devil's advocate.

Oh, c'mon. I know at least 6 people in my circle of friends that can do a pretty convincing Kermit voice.

It's not that hard.

Although, oddly, Ernie from Seasame Street has never sounded right to me since Henson died.

Fuck bees!

Really the reason it bugs me is two-fold. 1) saying that it's going back to the roots, which I do not believe to be true. The only part of it that's "back to its roots" is the muppets playing themselves and even then not really since two of the three pre-Henson death movies had them as themselves, and the most recent theatrical release had them as themselves too.

2) That specific plot was the plot of a movie that was already made -- and that movie was made six years ago, only TWO movies ago. It's covered ground, recently covered ground that has a tenuous connection to the past at best.
The following statement is true...

...The previous statement was false.

I know, I know. It's just that Rowlf's one of my favorites. It irks me, is all.
Why do my nostrils whisper to me?

ok that makes sense: the connection was that he met henson people doing the dracula scenes.

was anyone else worrying about copyright infringement based on sesame street's "the count"? i guess this means he's in the clear.

i just hope segel doesn't start getting typecast as "the puppet guy." it'd be sad to see "mother" dissolve into "unhappily ever after."

on second though, bobcat goldthwait! > WTF? he's directing live TV now.
