I was excited about this movie. Even though it's been done before I think this scenario of getting even with a jackass neighbor could really win with Sam Jackson as the jackass. I thought it could work.
I was setting up the bones of the review though and I wanted to check out the directors resume. It wouldn't let me click the link. I tried a couple times and then gave up. Then I thought... I need to click this. Fate is keeping me from this link for a reason. So I put it in manually.

2006 - The Wicker Man.
I'm still planning on seeing this either Thursday night or Friday morning but I'm severely less excited now. |

LOL!
I wasn't very excited about this in the first place, so that just further solidifies that I shouldn't see it. It looks exactly like Changing Lanes, but in the suburbs. And Samuel L. Jackson plays the jerk instead of the nice dude. |

When I first saw the trailer for this movie, I thought they were just documenting Samuel L. Jackson in his everyday life.
Until I saw the cop uniform. Then I thought it was his private life, if you know what I mean. _________________

Of those, can you point to the ones were he didn't play "The Angry Black Guy" _________________ It just goes to show, never stick your dick in a pudding. | Mitch Hennesey from Long Kiss Goodnight. One of the times in which he does not play the bad ass. But he looks so bad ass doing it. Man I love that movie. |

I went with Mace Windu... My first choice was "Hold Onto Your Butts" guy from Jurassic Park (the first time I ever saw him) but that wasn't on the list.
If they had blended two of his roles or lines - namely, "Where is my super-suit??" with "Say what again!" - then I would have gone for that mix. _________________

I maintain what I said earlier this week during The Triple Feature.
If Samuel L. Jackson is not biten in half by a giant shark in this movie, then it will be a complete and utter failure.

That is indeed a great movie. And he's great in it too. Who'd of thought he could also make people look bad ass instead of just being bad ass himself. |
