Ok… where were we?
Well, last week was a bit of a disaster in terms of updates. I missed two, and counting the one from the week before I was down a full week of comics! That just will not do.
In my defense I’d like to say first that there are no real excuses for no updates. We have a deal. Every Monday Wednesday and Friday I make a comic and you read the comic. It had been working great so far and I had no right to screw it up. Sometimes life can get in the way and really I should look at is as a lesson to always be ready for those delays.
The reason for the missing strips was 1: New York Comic Con and 2: My sister’s wedding which took place in the same weekend and required a lot of prep work from me in the past few weeks. For mys sister’s wedding I drew out all the table images for the reception. 15 character’s from the princess Bride that I didn’t want to rush and screw up. My number one priority became not letting my sister down. She seemed pleased enough. (This thread on the boards contains a few of the finished images)
I was only able to attend about 2 hours of Comic Con but it looked intense. My partners in crime Phil and Irv were there selling our swag, which included the debut of the Turtle and Tiger shirts. I was relived to find out that the shirts sold fantastically even selling out Turtle completely. No worries guys, these will be available online soon, but for now feast your eyes on the finished designs.
