Have you ever wanted to work in video games? Well that's what the guys at GameBizCo Inc. do. Literally.

Join the cast of Another Videogame Webcomic as we peek behind the curtain to see what exactly goes into bringing your favorite video games to the small screen. It may be a job in video games, but it's still a job.

The Another Videogame Webcomic gift guide

With the holiday season upon us, it's time for us to start spending our gaming dollars on our friends and family instead of ourselves. If you're anything like me, you've got a one or more of those "hard to shop for" people. In that spirit, I humbly present to you, this list in hopes of making your gift shopping a little easier.

Gift for someone who games so much you only see them online
Borderlands - You know the guy. The guy who hasn't seen the light of day in so long you might think he moved to Alaska. With Borderlands' drop-in/drop-out co-op play, you can hang out with your friend virtually and melt people's faces together!

Gift for someone who wants to dust off their DS
Scribblenauts - As ubiquitous as the DS is, there aren't a whole lot of games out there that make me want to bother to turn it on. Scribblenauts bucks that trend.

Gift for someone who wants to dust off thier PSP
LittleBigPlanet PSP - It's no secret that the PSP is often viewed as the PS3's slower, less powerful and less good looking sibling. But besides the total lack of multiplayer, LittleBigPlanet for the PSP is as good and good looking as its next generation counterpart.

Gift for someone else that's secretly for you
WET - Like I said in my review, Wet is the perfect game to watch but not play. Why subject yourself to this repetitive gameplay when you can subject one of your friends to it? Just watch your friend play through the game and you'll get all the benefits without any of the drawbacks. It's like the Blade scenario of the gaming world!

Gift for someone who wants to rationalize buying a PS3
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves - There isn't a better looking game for the PS3 hands down. If you know someone who's "game" collection consists of more blu-rays than actual games, look no further than this interactive cinematic masterpiece.

Gift for someone who wants to relive the glory days of 8 bit gaming
New Super Mario Bros - Is there any other game or franchise that so epitomizes classic 8 bit gaming? In spite of the "new" and "Wii" modifiers, once you play this game, you'll be transported back to the glory days when all you needed was a d-pad and two buttons.

Gift for your parents
The Beatles: Rock Band - Chances are your parents grew up listening to the Beatles. If so, this is the perfect gift for someone who wants to experience selected songs from the Beatles catalog. If not, your parents weren't cool were they? But you probably already knew that...

Gift for someone who doesn't have a living room full of fake plastic instruments
DJ Hero - Who doesn't want another plastic avatar of a musical instrument in their living room? Though I'm not sure you can call a turntable an instrument DJ Hero will fulfill your lifelong dream of spinning tunes for your TV.

Gift for someone who's late to the party
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 - I'm pretty sure anyone who wants this game has already bought it. But for those who are just a half step behind everyone else, shopping for them just got a whole lot easier.

Player Two

After the resurgence of multiplayer co-op, GameBizCo Inc. hired Player Two to be the Goose to someone else's Maverick. His workload isn't quite as heavy as most of the other people working at GameBizCo Inc. and as a result, he spends a lot of time in the break room or playing computer solitaire.

Player One

Player One is top dog at GameBizCo Inc. Nearly every game, from Pong to Mario Bros to Grand Theft Auto, requires Player One's expertise. His cocksure and sometimes inappropriate attitude is an annoyance to his coworkers but seeing as every game needs a first player, they make due.
First Appearance: Bonus Stage! Here comes Player One!

Damsel I. Distress

Whether it be a castle, a dungeon or mystical island, Damsel always needs to be saved... and she hates it. Damsel longs for the day when she's given the role of a strong female lead character who doesn't have huge breasts with hyper accurate physics.
First Appearance: LittleBIGPlanet

Final Boss

Underneath the huge brute that is Final Boss lies a timid creature who wouldn't hurt a fly. He puts on his "angry face" when throwing barrels down ramps or breathing fire but deep down he feels sorry for doing so. He's been known to throw a game or two in the player's favor.
First Appearance: World Record

John Minion

John Minion, or Min for short, is the hardest working employee at GameBizCo Inc. Playing everything from Goombas to no name thugs, Min gets beat up on a daily basis but loves every minute of it. He always wanted to work in the gaming industry and was originally hired as an intern. After years of getting coffee, his big break came when someone called in sick... and the rest is history.
First Appearance: Watchmen: The End is Nigh

Middle Manager

Middle Manager works in the Human Resources department. He runs staff meetings and interviews prospective employees. The other 90% of his time is spent playing Freecell on his computer.
